Frost Beer Works is a small microbrewery in Hinesburg, Vermont. We are committed to using the best raw materials and state of the art brewery processes and quality control to craft flavorful, well-balanced, world class beers with low, restrained bitterness that showcase the tropical citrus aromas and soft flavors hops can produce.
Many consider hoppy to be synonymous with bitter, when in truth, hops can contribute much more to beer than just bitterness. We carefully select hops with characteristics that will complement the contributions from fermentation. While the majority of varieties we use are American, certain hops from Australia and New Zealand have found a home in our beers because they make unique contributions that can’t be replicated. We favor the approach of blending hop varieties to allow layer upon layer of aroma and flavor to manifest themselves. Think tropical and citrus characteristics; specifically, elements of pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, mango, peach, orange, and grapefruit.
A passion for our interpretation of hoppy ales inspires us to go to great lengths to make fresh, flavorful beer. Since freshness is critical, we entrust our consumers with a big responsibility: to enjoy our beers at their peak. Each can of our beer is date coded and ideally should be enjoyed within a maximum of six weeks from canning.
We take pride in the progress we’ve made since Frost Beer Works opened in the early months of 2015, and we are grateful for the support we’ve received from retailers, restaurants, bars, and most of all, from consumers. We encourage everyone from hardcore craft beer enthusiasts to curious newcomers to discover our flavorful, balanced, and delicious approach to hoppy beers. We hope that you join us by raising a fresh glass of Frost in good company. Cheers!
